Position Overview
Your role as an O2 Sales advisor is to create a world class customer experience. You are a person who uses their high level of expertise to provide advice, inspiration and education to our external and internal customers about O2’s products and services. Our customers see ‘connectivity’ as a lifeline and as an O2 sales advisor you must understand this passion and relate to the customer at all times. Providing an exceptional customer experience, you will help our customers and your team understand this new technology and share our passion for this vision. To achieve all key performance targets set by the business on a quarterly basis by the following:

Be able to establish customer needs then translate into a bespoke lifestyle solution. Deliver WOW factor showcase demonstrations to groups of customers creating a desire to buy and a great overall experience Establish and maintain trusted relationships with new and existing O2 customers, creating loyalty to the network and sales opportunities Be able to explain complex products and services in an easy to understand language. Resolve customer’s complex technical issues. Provide an outstanding and differentiated customer experience through O2 products and future products/services – engaging the customer in product demos focusing on the latest in technological advances. Proactively research latest industry trends, products and services Have a sound and up to date knowledge of competitor activity. Have expert knowledge in all O2 propositions such as Business, Broadband, Value Added Services and Devices Understand all forms of ‘Connectivity’ i.e. Mobile & Home Broadband, Wi-Fi, Social Networking Sites, Wireless, MSN, Business Devices etc and always be up to speed with the latest and greatest developments Be an avid contributor to Social Networking sites and an avid follower of the latest cyber space trends Be excited and passionate about new technology and be able to share this enthusiasm with your customers and colleagues alike Be pro-active with highlighting growth opportunities within your local area and escalate these to the management team

The Essentials
As an O2 sale advisor you will be so proud of our products and services and have so much enthusiasm for them that customers will be inspired to buy from you.  Able to demonstrate the ability to build rapport with both colleagues and customers, you will be required to have an existing knowledge of new technology and a passion for new products entering the market. You should be motivated to learn and pass on information about new products and competitor activity. The ability to listen and input data accurately is vital as we work in an industry that must operate within strict rules/guidelines.  Although a full and comprehensive training programme is provided the desire to sell is crucial – this is not about order-taking; this places the role holder at the cutting edge of sales in an intensely competitive market.

You will be expected to apply best practice in line with O2 company policy and legal requirements; this is known as compliance. You will be required to familiarise yourself with these regulations and recognise occasions where you need to ask for support from your  Branch Manager  You will be dealing with customer sensitive information; this means that you are required to follow a strict set of security guidelines in line with legal requirements and O2 policy.

Ideally you will have previous visual merchandising experience in a retail environment.

You will be required to work 39 hours per week, 5 days out of 7.
