Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre is home to over 50 popular retailers all under one roof, including M&S, Sainsbury's, Argos and BHS. 
Lovers of quality food are spoilt for choice at the centre with the largest M&S in Medway with a food hall and one of the largest Sainsbury's in Kent. All stores are easily accessible from the ground floor. 
Followers of fashion will find inspiration from the new summer 2013 collections available at Wallis, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Select and Burton.  Plus beauty products from Boots, Superdrug and The Body Shop. A great selection of music, games, gifts, toys and home accessories can all be found at Hempstead Valley.

Whether you want a quick snack, a relaxing break from shopping with a coffee and slice of cake or a 3 course meal in Sainsbury's restaurant, you'll find a great range of food to choose from. Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 3PD, is located just a couple of minutes from junction 4 of the M2 (follow the brown highway signs from the motorway), on the edge of the Medway Towns.

Hempstead Valley has over 2,000 car parking spaces in a choice of covered or surface car parks. Parking is FREE* for our customers whilst they are shopping at the centre.
*Maximum stay 6 hours for customers whilst they are shopping at Hempstead Valley.

Our parking areas have a bright, user-friendly atmosphere and there are extra wide disabled parking bays - marked in blue for blue badge holders only - located close to all the centre's entrances. Wider parent & baby bays are marked in red.  There are also dedicated bicycle and motorbike bays.

Hempstead Valley has been awarded the Park Mark Safer Parking Award and all of our car parks are monitored round the clock 24 hours by CCTV for your safety.

Hempstead Valley holds regular events at the centre including a monthly Craft and Gift Fayre which is held on the last Sunday of every month.

Commercialisation - Space is available in a number of prominent, high footfall areas within the centre on a weekly basis for companies wanting to carry out experiential marketing, promote their products, services and brands. The centre is home to one of the largest Sainsbury's in Kent and Medway's only M&S with a Food Hall. Other benefits include FREE parking and the centre is open until 8pm weekdays with Sainsbury's having extended hours until 11pm on weekdays. Additional key retailers include Argos, BHS, WH Smith. Hempstead Valley is a popular, out of town shopping centre, located on the edge of the Medway Towns (population of 254,000) in Kent. It is only a couple of minutes from the M2 motorway, half way between London and Dover. The centre was the first out of town shopping centre to be built in the south east. It was a pioneer of the 'commercialisation' of mall space, with RMU's being a feature of the centre when it fully opened in June 1979.
