Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre is proud to have sponsored Centre Receptionist, Clare Foreman, as she raised funds for Stickler’s Syndrome Support, through running the London Marathon for the fifth time! Clare completed the Marathon in an impressive 4 hours 10 minutes.
Clare, who has worked for the organisation for four years, is thrilled at the support received from Hempstead Valley as it should help her reach her collective target total of £8,000.
This will be Clare’s final Marathon as she said “I have turned 40 this year and have decided that this is a good time to call it a day, as I would like to spend more time with my family. I will continue with running but it will be a case of wanting to rather than having to, I also wanted to say that I ran the marathon during the Olympic year.”
