Rocket the Reindeer and his friends were back at Hempstead Valley with their brand new 3D film “Rocket’s Sleigh Adventure”. This magical experience was located outside Marks & Spencer’s and was open to children and adults of all ages.
After the 15 minute 3D Christmas film everyone can meet Father Christmas and his elves and each child will receive a free gift.
Admission includes loan of 3D glasses, the film can be viewed without 3D glasses.
The magical snow covered grotto was officially opened on Saturday 26th November at 11am by Mike Russell, kmfm for Medway breakfast show presenter. Our beautiful Snow Queens, from Michelle's School of Dance handed out free chocolate giveaways for the children.
Everyone is given 3D glasses to wear; the experience starts with families being treated to a magical 15 minute 3D Christmas film, starring Rocket the ReindeerTM and the Cheeky Snowman. The narrated short film follows Rocket the ReindeerTM and his new adventures in the North Pole with his friends the Cheeky Snowman and the Wish Fairy. Following the exciting 3D experience which is held in our purpose built cinema, the childrens' journey will then lead them to Father Christmas in his cosy grotto. Families can meet Father Christmas and children will leave the grotto with their own present. Outside the grotto our animated snowmen and characters will be busy sorting out presents ready for Father Christmas to deliver in time for Christmas.

Tickets are only £4.00 per child including a free gift and £2.00 per adult. (Booking fees apply for online and call centre bookings). Alternatively you can turn up on the day to book, however availability for the grotto cannot be guaranteed. Photographs and Rocket the Reindeer merchandise will be on sale at the exit.

Following the success of last year's unique Christmas experience which included a magical 3D Christmas film, along with the visit to see Father Christmas, once again we have worked hard to provide families in Medway and Kent a rather unique state-of-the-art Christmas experience that can be enjoyed by our customers. There is also a Wishing well in Santa's grotto, by the large Christmas tree, for donations to be made to our chosen charity, Kent Air Ambulance. Last year over £300 was raised for MacMillan Cancer Support."
Meet The Characters
Rocket lives in the North Pole with all his friends. The North Pole is a magical and very special place where lots of things happen and wishes can really come true.
Rocket The ReindeerTM
Rocket, is a very cute, loveable, friendly reindeer. He lives in The North Pole with all his friends. He is usually the fastest Reindeer in the pack and leads the way pulling Father Christmas's sleigh. Rocket is always getting into mischief with his friend The Cheeky Snowman.
These stories are about his adventures in the North Pole, and his trade mark for each of the stories is about him losing one his antlers which always gets him into trouble and consequently he is unable to find his way home or fly with Santa. However, the Magical Wishfairy is on hand to help and with her magical powers and fairy dust she helps Rocket grow the antler back.
At this moment in time Rocket does not speak - the English speaking Narrator does the talking for him! (International translations are available) 
The Cheeky SnowmanTM
The Cheeky Snowman is Rocket's best friend. He is very cheeky, cute, loveable, but quite naughty. Cheeky Snowman likes playing tricks and often hides behinds the trees and places you would least expect to find him and when you are not looking he throws snowballs at you!
He often tries to jump on the sleigh when Father Christmas and Rocket are not looking because he loves to ride in the sky at night. He and Rocket have lots of adventures together and often go out at night and play in the snow together.
At this moment in time Cheeky Snowman does not speak but he does make a lot of funny giggly noises! 
Pip and Pop - ElvesTM
Pip and Pop are the two loveable elves that help Santa in his workshop. They are always making mistakes, and often get things in a bit of a muddle. They love playing games and decorating Santa's house.
In this film they are decorating the tree but quickly realise there are no decorations so with the help of the audience lots of decorations and lights appear with the magic of 3D. They help Santa wrap all the toys in the workshop ready for Father Christmas to deliver. Although all the toys they wrap don't always get delivered to the right children!!
'Pip' will always be seen on screen on the left and 'Pop' will always be standing on the right. 
The WishfairyTM
The Wishfairy is everyone's friend and when someone needs help, if you close your eyes and wish for her help she comes to the rescue. She often comes to the rescue when Rocket gets lost, or the Cheeky Snowman is being very naughty. She helps 'Pip and 'Pop' get out of a muddle and makes sure Santa finds the right way in the skies on Christmas Eve.
She is very cute and has doll-like features. Her wings are very sparkly when they move and she always carries her magical wand and a bag of magical sprinkles. She lives in a fantastic Ice palace at the Edge of The North Pole. It takes quite a long time to get there but as you approach it in the snow you can see it is all lit up with amazing colours that bounce and light up in the skies.
She comes to the rescue when Rocket needs to quickly grow back one of his antlers so he can fly with Santa and the rest of the Reindeer on Christmas Eve... but watch out because too many sprinkles can make you sneeze and that cheeky snowman is just around the corner...!!!
