Free Easter Arts & Craft workshops at Hempstead Valley
Makendoo were back for five days during the Easter school holidays from Easter Monday 5th to Friday 9th April with more free workshops!
This time the painting and making craft workshops had an Easter and Springtime theme and they ran from 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm daily.
Customers could just turn up on the day, no pre-booking required. The workshops were held inside the shopping centre, close to Thomson and Clinton Cards.
Hempstead Valley's VIP guests during half term - Postman Pat and Noddy and Big-Ears!
The nation's favourite postman, Postman Pat and his trusty side-kick Jess the Cat® made a very special visit to Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre on Wednesday 17th February, where they made FREE appearances at intervals throughout the day to meet with their young fans.
A pre-school favourite amongst children and parents alike, Postman Pat and his trusty sidekick Jess the Cat have captivated audiences around the globe for almost 30 years. Now Postman Pat is delivering more than ever with his new series, Postman Pat Special Delivery Service (SDS) broadcast on CBeebies in the UK. It's Pat as you've never seen him before as he takes on a very exciting new challenge - he's been promoted to ‘Head of the Special Delivery Service' in the bustling new market town of Pencaster. Pat is now called upon to deliver anything, anytime, anywhere! No mission is too big - with his fleet of new vehicles and a cast of new and returning characters to help him on his way Pat will deliver on time, every time. Mission Accomplished!

On Friday 19th February Hempstead Valley welcomed two more special guests - Noddy and Big-Ears. Characters appeared at various intervals throughout the day for FREE meet and greet sessions.
Noddy and his friends have been entertaining children for generations and it's easy to see why.
With a cast of fun and memorable characters, good morals and a sprinkling of fun and magic, Noddy's is a world full of charming characters who love to help each other play and learn.
Using easy to follow storylines, the books and shows take children on a fun filled adventure where they can learn some simple lessons about sharing, helping others and the simplicity of right and wrong.
