Hempstead Valley takes great pride in ensuring that the centre is kept clean and safe and we feel that this is one of the reasons of the continued popularity of the centre. Our dedicated in-house Housekeeping team work hard to keep the toilets and baby changing rooms clean and these rooms regularly cleaned throughout the day. We offer two separate baby changing areas and within one of these areas is a private area where Mums can breastfeed in a comfortable chair.
Baby changing rooms, ladies, gents and disabled toilets are located on the ramp (in between the underground car park and Supercuts hairdressers) and to the rear of the Food Court.
Wheelchairs can be hired free of charge whilst you are shopping at the centre. To request a wheelchair please go to the disabled toilet located behind the automatic doors by Wallis and Costa Coffee and press the buzzer on the left hand wall. A member of staff will allocate you with a wheelchair, once you have completed your contact details.
Please telephone 01634 387 076 to book a wheelchair in advance or to obtain further details. We advise that wheelchairs are pre-booked during busy shopping periods to guarantee availability.
RADAR keys can also be purchased here for access to toilet facilities.
We welcome shoppers guided by Assistance Dogs and all of Hempstead Valley's stores are easily accessible. Lifts to the multi-storey car parks are fitted with braile and there are numerous disabled car parking bays (marked in blue for blue badge holders only) located close to all the centre's main entrances.
